Please note – Seating in Knapp Auditorium is very limited. Doors will open at 6 pm.

Question: Is there a registration requirement and fee? Answer: No. Both the chapel service and evening lecture are, however, open to the public. Seating in both venues, however, is very limited and will be on a first-come, first served basis.
Question: Can I be guaranteed a seat to the 11:15 chapel service? Answer: No. We cannot guarantee seats; seating will be first-come, first-served.
Question: Can I be guaranteed a seat to the evening lecture? Answer: No. We cannot guarantee seats; seating will be first-come, first-served. Doors will open at 6:00 pm.
Question: Are Continuing Education Units (CEUs) available to clergy who attend the lecture? Answer: Yes. Look for the sign-up table in the Weeks Center rotunda.
Question: Is parking available? Answer: Limited parking is available in the seminary’s visitors’ lot (only entrance is off 32 nd St., at Duval). Additional parking is available on the side streets around the campus (Liberty Street, Rathervue Place, Harris Park Avenue, and Bellevue Place). After 5:00 pm, evening parking on the neighborhood streets is unrestricted, i.e. does not required a permit. However, parking on the neighborhood streets requires a permit before 5:00 pm.

Question: Will her books be available for sale?
Answer: Yes, the seminary bookstore will have some of Barbara Brown Taylor’s books for sale one week prior to and immediately after the event.
Question: I will not be able to attend. Will the lecture be available for those of us not in attendance?
Answer: Yes, ETSS will be videotaping Barbara Brown-Taylor’s sermon in Christ Chapel and her evening lecture. These will be posted on the main Harvey Lecture webpage after the event. It will also be posted on the seminary's sermons and lectures webpage. The video will also be available for checkout at the Booher Library.
