This site contains a great deal of good information about an enormous number of religious groups, but it necessarily relies on reports from many different sources.

ARDA - The American Religious Data Archives provides a massive quantity of reports on statistical studies including the number interviewed, questions asked, responses received, etc. Because of the amount of information, this site requires some navigation, but the information available justifies the effort. If you or your class does a statistical survey, you may offer it to ARDA to provide public access to the information you collect.
